Centralia
On Sunday August 21, 2022, Sr. Dia, Sr Franchiska and Sr. Ann journeyed to Centralia, PA for the Call to Prayer pilgrimage. The theme was Mary, Protectress and Refuge of all. The Hierarchical Liturgy was celebrated by Archbishop Borys Gudziak and Bishop Andrij Rabij along with Bishop Ronald of Harrisburg, PA and Bishop Alfred of Allentown, PA.
The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church is a Ukrainian Catholic church in the town of Centralia, Pennsylvania. The church is the last remaining church in Centralia, which was largely abandoned after a mine fire rendered much of the town unsafe.
