You Are Invited to Celebrate With Us at the Lumen Christi Award Ceremony!
As you may have heard, the Sisters of St. Basil the Great were recently named as the winner of Catholic Extension Society’s 2023-2024 Lumen Christi Award for their work in helping war victims in Ukraine and the United States. This is a huge honor, and a surprise, from one of the most important American Catholic foundations. Learn more about the award from this article.
We would love to fill two tables at the event to celebrate and honor the Sisters for their amazing work both locally and abroad. This is a great opportunity for our SBA Alumnae and Community to gather together for a great cause!
- Date: Thursday, February 22, 2024
- Time: Reception at 5:30PM followed by Dinner & Main Program at 6:15PM
- Where: Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center, 700 North Cedar Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046
- Tickets: $95 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Sisters’ Food Pantry (St. Basil Support Ministry) which has assisted thousands of people in need in the Philadelphia area as well as their ministries in Ukraine
