94th Annual Pilgrimage: Sunday, October 5, 2025
The 94th Annual Pilgrimage to the Mother of God will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 with the theme, “Mary, Mother of Hope.” Confession will be available in English and Ukrainian from 8:30 am – 1 pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 am followed by lunch at 1 pm. Spiritual programs will be held between 2 and 3 pm. Moleben will be celebrated at 3 pm, and the day will conclude afterwards with the Anointing for Healing and Blessing of Cars and Buses.
Some important details to note are that parking is free and plentiful, and all people of good will are invited. You do not need to be Ukrainian or Catholic to attend the Pilgrimage!
Some of the best places to visit on the Motherhouse grounds include:
- Holy Trinity Chapel – Constructed in the style of Ukraine’s traditional wooden churches, Holy Trinity Chapel is the spiritual heart of the Motherhouse where the Sisters have daily Divine Liturgy and prayer.
- Marian Grotto – The beautiful stone Grotto has a mosaic icon of Our Lady of Pochayiv to honor the Theotokos (Blessed Mother).
- Our Lady of Lourdes Statue – Located in a small gazebo next to the Yellow House, the statue is based on Mary’s 1858 appearance to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France.
- St. Joseph Statue – The statue of St. Joseph holding the child Jesus is situated among the grove of trees in front of the Yellow House.
- Basilian Legacy Room – Found in the Faculty House, next to the Motherhouse, the Basilian Legacy Room tells the 114- year history of the Jesus, Lover of Humanity Province through artifacts, photographs, and more.
- St. Basil the Great Statue – The statue of St. Basil the Great stands directly in front of the Motherhouse.
