Christmas Gift Giving

After completing a month long “Toy Drive” for children of refugees and the poor, Sr Teodora, with the help of the Sisters and her family, held an “Christmas Gift Giving” afternoon. Some 300 families signed up and attended the event which featured a “Vertep”, a Nativity play, by the children and parishioners of Annunciation parish, led by Fr. Oliynyk. Fr. Kopyn led an inspirational dialogue with the children prior to distributing the presents to the families.

Before performing at the “Christmas Gift Giving event, Friday Oliynyk, along with his parishioners, visited the Sisters of St. Basil with his “Vertep”. The Sisters enjoyed the children’s performance and thanked them for their beautiful performance and remembrance.
