February Press Conference
Dear Manor College Trustees, Sisters of St. Basil the Great and Manor Board Committee Members,
We had a strong press conference in support of Ukraine today. Six different media outlets in the room (Phila Inquirer, NBC10, 6ABC, Northeast Times, OSV News and Montgomery News). We believe that today’s program will air at 5pm on NBC10 and 6pm on 6ABC. We’re very grateful of course for the leadership of State Rep. Ben Sanchez, Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, Ukrainian Consul Iryna Mazur, and all who support them. Likewise, we thank our alumni, Marta and Vera P., for their heartfelt remarks shared at the press conference.

Special thanks to our Marketing Team, Kelly Peiffer, Anthony Machcinski, Allison Meyers, our Advancement Team, Kelly, and Tom Sims, and to the Curator of our Ukrainian Heritage Studies Center and Museum and the Maria Mazur Gallery, Chrystyna Prokopovych, who helped us to bake wartime bread for Ukrainian refugees. We also thank Fr. Ciurpita and Chrystyna for leading the prayer service that followed, as well as Dean Nicholas Rudnytzky for his impassioned reflection, and Sr. Dorothy Ann, and students Jon N and Anastasiya B. for being a part of the prayer service.
Thank you all, for your support and prayers, for Manor and for Ukraine. Slava Ukraini!
