Finalist for Catholic Extension’s 2023 Lumen Christi Award
The Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great have been named a Finalist for Catholic Extension’s 2023 Lumen Christi Award.
This year’s field of 41 nominees was narrowed to just 7. The Sisters’ nomination includes two provinces: the Jesus, Lover of Humanity Province based in Jenkintown, PA and Holy Trinity Province based in Lviv, Ukraine.
Catholic Extension created the Lumen Christi Award in 1978 to highlight those who radiate the light of Christ in the communities where they serve. It is Catholic Extension’s highest honor.
