​Byzantine Understanding of the Gospels

Registration is required.

This program follows the Byzantine Understanding of the Old Testament program. The Synoptic Gospels and the Gospel of St. John (in particular) will be examined in light of salvation through Jesus Christ and in particular through His Resurrection. Discussion will focus upon Byzantine understanding of these books and through them, “Your faith shall be your salvation.”

Monsignor Peter D. Waslo, a priest of the Archeparchy of Philadelphia, currently is Judicial Vicar of the Metropolitan Tribunal of Philadelphia and serves as Chaplain for the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great, Manor College, and St. Basil Academy.
