SBA Alumnae Tea with the Sisters
On Saturday, December 14, an amazing group of SBA alumnae gathered at the Motherhouse to spend time with the Sisters, share memories and laughter, enjoy tea and cookies, and present their Christmas stockings and gifts. A special thank you to the 30 alumnae who donated almost $1,000 so we could make this day possible!
Each Sister received a stocking and bag of goodies filled with toiletries, lip balm, hand cream, slipper socks, knee high stockings (by popular request!), candy, and treats as well as a Christmas card with a little spending money.
It was so wonderful spending time with the Sisters during the holiday season. Several of them recorded a message thanking us for the gifts as well as sharing blessings for Christmas and the New Year – with well wishes in Spanish and Ukrainian! We finished our visit with a rendition of the Ukrainian Christmas carol, “Boh Predvichnyi.”
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and we send best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year!
