Sisters from Ukraine Set to Arrive in Fox Chase
There are about 400 Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great around the world. The Order is organized into 13 regional units called provinces – including our own Jesus, Lover of Humanity Province in Jenkintown – all of which are governed by the General Council in Rome.
We are very fortunate to have an excellent relationship with Holy Trinity Province in Ukraine, which also happens to be the largest with about 150 members. There is even an exchange program through which our Sisters in Ukraine can come to Fox Chase to live and work for as little as six weeks or as much as several years.
Two Sisters from Holy Trinity Province will soon arrive to help with our Summer Camp which runs July 28 – August 1. They are Sister Chrysantha Burmei and Sister Estera Kozun. We look forward to welcoming them!
