Sisters from Ukraine Visit U.S.

Sisters of Holy Trinity Province serve throughout Ukraine, including in some of the most dangerous areas, where they work in education, pastoral care, and service to those in need, especially orphans, internally displaced persons, and the poor.
Three Sisters from Holy Trinity Province in Ukraine are in Fox Chase this week visiting with the Jesus, Lover of Humanity Province. They are Mother Sevastiana Karvatska, OSBM, Provincial Superior; Sister Inokentiia Brattsiv, OSBM, Second Provincial Councilor and Econome; and Sister Lucia Murashko, OSBM, Superior of the Zaporizhzhia Monastery. Over the next three weekends, they will travel to parishes in four states to thank donors, give updates on current ministries, and ask for additional support as the war enters its fifth year. Holy Trinity Province is the largest in the Order with 142 Sisters. They serve throughout the country, including in some of the most dangerous areas, where they work in education, pastoral care, and service to those in need, especially orphans, internally displaced persons, and the poor. In 1911, its Sisters founded the Jesus, Lover of Humanity Province in Philadelphia close to the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral.
