St. Basil Support Ministry Touching the Lives of 1,000 People Per Month

When the St. Basil Support Ministry was launched in late 2020, it was serving about two dozen households from a parked minivan. Over four years, the scope of operations has greatly expanded so that today it benefits about 1,000 people per month. Food distributions are held weekly on the Motherhouse grounds in Jenkintown, and outreach efforts are undertaken on the streets of Philadelphia’s Kensington section.
